Whilst predominantly based at our modern offices in east Manchester, you will also be free to work from home. We are committed to hybrid working, meaning you'll be able to do some days in the office, some at home. We'll work with you so you can work best for us.
Our HQ is extremely handy for the M60 and M67 motorways and offers plenty of private parking.
Whilst this is a permanent, full-time role we won't be watching the clock. We will judge you on your performance, not the hours you work - or when you work them.
You'll be helping our clients by efficiently and promptly handling a diverse range of commercial insurance claims. These may include motor, property and casualty claims drawn from a broad spectrum of industries and business sectors. There's variety!
Other departments will also rely on you for the timely provision of accurate management information.
In addition, you'll also get out and about, meeting clients we serve across the North West and beyond.
You'll be outgoing and confident, comfortable dealing with clients, whether they work on the shopfloor or in the boardroom.
You'll have gained that assurance from three years' (or more) experience in motor, property and casualty. You'll be familiar not just with claims processes and procedures, but be up to date with relevant legislation.
Naturally you'll have strong Maths and English skills and ideally - but not essentially - be educated to 'A' level standard.
You'll also possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be confident in managing and developing client relationships.
When it comes to IT, you'll be comfortable working with MS Outlook, Word, Excel and, ideally, know your way around Acturis applications.
Commercially aware, you'll appreciate the need to look smart, be confident and transmit your enthusiasm whether meeting on Teams or in person.
